Quote: “Don’t turn your wounds into a burden. Turn your wounds into wisdom.”
From every wound there is a scar, and every scar tells a story. Your distinctive story. A story that says “I have survived what I’ve been through.” And you were able to grow through what you’ve been through. Through the pain, through the struggle. The work you’ve put in to navigate your way out should not be in vain. Instead, turn the pain into power. Turn your struggle into wisdom.
Turning your pain into strength allows you to bend every problem into a challenge, that you can overcome. Your wounds will curve into wisdom when they are washed with forgiveness, bound up with precious lessons learned, and ultimately strengthened with the courage to make your life much better. It will require that you let go of what hurt you in the past. But never forget what it taught you. The wisdom that you now have to make better life choices and teach other people.
Remember, whatever you have experienced in the past, know that the first to apologise is the bravest. The first to forgive is in actual fact the strongest. And the first to forget will be the happiest of them all. Don’t just turn your wounds into wisdom, also turn your pain into progress. Keep moving forward. That’s the only road to a better future.
