Everyone has the right to be who they are, without having to compromise. Everyone has the right to feel how they feel, without having to justify why they feel that way.
You might think that you don’t matter in this world. That your opinion doesn’t matter or that you don’t have a reason to exist. But because of you someone has a favourite coffee mug to drink their coffee (or tea). Someone thinks of you when they hear a certain song. Someone has read a book simply because you recommended that book. Guess what, maybe they’ve gone completely lost in that book. They love it, they discovered something new, thanks to you.
If you told a joke 10 years ago, someone could be sitting on the bus or in their car (stuck in traffic) and remember that one joke you told them a decade ago and smile.
Never think you don’t have impact. We all have impact. Every individual has an impact on a small scale every day, but on a very large scale over a lifetime. Your fingerprints can’t be wiped away from history.
You were seen, you were heard and you matter.
Regardless of the past. What’s behind you doesn’t matter anymore.
Let’s strive to live without judgment, without shame, attack or marginalisation of others because they’re different.
We strongly encourage the acceptance of others and ourselves as we all are, and to thrive as our unique selves, with our unique skills.
We all contribute to life in a unique way. We all matter.
