6 Healthy and Organic Breakfast Ideas

The breakfast is the most important meal of the day, that’s what we learned a long time ago. But since metabolism and its habits are different from person to person, there are as many breakfast habits as there are people in this world. Some of us like to start our day with a cup of coffee, while others are ready to eat from the moment they open their eyes. Some like to start a day with a piece of fruit and a glass of yogurt, while others like to have full egg-bread-sausage breakfast set. Whichever group you belong to, you should know that having a healthy organic breakfast every morning is not hard nor impossible. With these creative ideas, you might find just what you are looking for.

Fruity Delight

If you are one of those people who like to have fruit in the morning, first of all, congrats on your habit. This is one of the helthiest things to have for breakfast. Organic fruit or any other organic food is good for our body and a great way to start a morning. However, having only fruit can soon make us hungry again and move the lunch break way earlier. To change this, you can add something to your fruit to make it more nutritious. Greek yoghurt goes with any kind of fruit and its rich taste and creamy texture will make you simply love it. Also, frozen yoghurt mixed with some fruit can make it look like you are having ice cream for your breakfast. A fruit smoothie can be a perfect idea for fruit lovers, especially since you can drastically improve their nutritional value by adding some protein powder.

Egg lovers

If you are eggs lover, you are practically blessed with the number of breakfast ideas. From boiled eggs, which are very convenient and easy to make, to all kinds of scrambled eggs and omelettes. You can have your omelette with cheese, chopped veggies and diced salami or bacon on top. Poached eggs are also an easy and convenient option. You can have it plain, on a toast with some beans, as a side to salat or spinach dip. Another breakfast idea including egg is organic egg burrito, with chopped veggies and sausage pieces. You can adjust the wrapping to your taste and change veggie and meat options every time to make it dynamic.

Organic pancakes

Well, who doesn’t like pancakes? If you think it would be too much of a trouble, you are wrong. You can prepare your pancake dough the evening before, and in the morning just heat the pen and you are all set. Pancakes are easy to combine with all sort of things. You can opt for a simple topping like syrup or jam. Adding berry fruit is also one of the classics. The good thing about pancake breakfast is that you can control the type of flour you use so you can easily make them into a super healthy, organic dish. You can also pop up the tastes by adding pumpkin, mashed apples or corn. Some whipped cream or brown sugar on the top and your organic pancakes are ready.

Oats’n stuff

If you are an oat lover, then you have a great breakfast solution. They are healthy, easy to prepare and very nutritious. The same as with pancakes, you can add all sorts of different fruit to make them more delicious. Overnight oats in a jar are a perfect breakfast for those who like to sleep in. Spice it up by adding a few scoops of any nut butter, cinnamon, vanilla extract etc. Chopped almonds or nuts will make it more nutritious, and raisins will add to its sweetness. Organic oats are a great breakfast idea and a healthy beginning of a day.

Sandwich team

If you are on a team sandwich, then you already know what endless possibilities there are when it comes to sandwiches. Cold turkey slices, salami, pastrami, bacon and all sorts of meat goes in here. Boiled organic eggs and tuna can be a great, protein stacked combo to keep you full for hours. Adding all sorts of salad to your sandwich will make it more refreshing and healthy. Keep in mind the type of bread is where you can influence the organic level of your breakfast. Always go for whole-grain and organic bread types to make the most out of your sandwich.

When it comes to bread, making your own bread can be challenging but it is definitely worth the trouble once you taste it. You can add all sorts of seeds and different types of flour. If you are a bit of a sweet tooth, banana bread is a great option for you. It is easy to make and you can have it in a sandwich like the regular bread, combining it with peanut butter and jelly.

Coffee and biscuits

For all of those who just like to have a cup of coffee on an empty stomach first thing in the morning- okay, but at least have some biscuits along with it. Only coffee can go hard on your stomach and will mess with your sense of appetite. That way you won’t feel hungry but your body will be dying on the inside. You can make your own organic biscuits and muffins with fruit or chocolate chips. They can last for several days and are convenient to pack along if you wish to have them later during the day. The best thing is that the coffee itself can be organic too, so that way you can be sure that you are getting the maximum of your breakfast.

Having breakfast every morning is a healthy habit. By implementing some of these healthy organic ideas you can improve it even more.
