Lien Vercruysse: Benefits Of A Healthy Nutrition Plan

LXP - Lifexpe - Miss Belgie Booty Woman Lien Vercruysse Wonderful Benefits Of A Healthy Nutrition Plan

I’m a fan of healthy nutrition and I’m loving the lifestyle for quite a while now. But before I started all of this, I went to college and gradually started to put on some weight. When I was 20, I did my first beauty pageant for Miss Belgium. I made it to the top 7.

2 years later I would go to the Live Shows of Miss Belgium 2016, but first I had to lose some weight. Then I met a person who did Herbalife. The healthy nutrition program helped me lose 15 pounds and I was very proud of my accomplishment.

So, I was ready for the Miss Belgium 2016 pageant.

Visible Benefits Of Eating More Healthy

Helps You Control Your Weight
Eating a balanced, calorie-managed diet can also help you control your weight. When you start your day with a strong and healthy breakfast, you will be less hungry later on. And when you’re not super hungry before lunch time, you won’t need small snacks and fast food at all. That’s a big plus!

Gives You A Better Mood
When you know you’re doing your body right, you have a sense of satisfaction. You will feel better in general. The feel-good as a result to your healthy nutrition diet will pay off on the mind-level as well.

Helps You Fight Diseases
Healthy habits can certainly help you prevent certain health conditions —such as heart diseases and high blood pressure— simply by keeping track of certain biomarkers like your cholesterol. If you know and understand your body, then you’ll know what you need to work on.

Gives You An Energy Boost
We’ve all experienced that lethargic feeling we get after eating too much unhealthly food. When you eat a balanced diet including whole grains, lean meats, low-fat dairy products, fruits and vegetables, your body has the fuel that it needs to manage your energy level.

Raises Chances Of Living Longer
When you practice healthy habits, you boost your chances of living a longer life. That’s what your body gives you in return, as a reward for treating it very well!

Workout – Eat – Repeat

Have a morning ritual. Make time for a healthy morning ritual. I love my morning-cardio! It burns more fat, boosts my metabolism for the entire day! After that I eat my breakfast and drink coffee to wake up. I love mornings, my favorite part of the day!

My workouts got a makeover. Cardio-based exercises used to be my thing, especially running, because I thought it had the quickest weight-loss results. But once I started searching online for ways to get toned arms, I discovered that I needed to do some strength training as well. So, I looked for a coach who would teach me things about weight training and real nutritious foods.

When I first started, I was really rigorous and strict about snacks and only ate very few carbs. Afterwards, I would find myself eating an entire bag of healthy nutrition. I started eating fruits and nuts, with protein shakes and lots of fish and vegetables.

As I started weight lifting, I began to see muscle definition on myself and got really excited about it! I also loved the fact that weight training helped me burn more calories throughout the day—that was a huge bonus for me.

I workout 5/6 times a week, with a strict balanced diet. I eat 6 small meals per day, full of proteins and I drink lots of water to hydrate my body.

Focus On A Healthy Nutrition Diet

I don’t really have a number one thing I can tell anyone to avoid in terms of food, but I what I would advise is to plan your meals and snacks. You know, it happens to find yourself in a situation where you used up a lot of energy, you’re tired, hungry, thirsty and you want to eat something as fast as possible.

Planning your responses to this types of hunger helps you shed pounds a lot faster and also eat lot healthier, because you plan your healthy nutrition ahead instead of reaching out for “easy” and fast food.

You Have To Believe In Yourself

Don’t get me wrong. I really love food! And I think everybody does. So, you should be able to live your life and eat, but just in healthy way and of course stay fit as well! Your life is going to be amazing!

Don’t expect somebody else to actually do the work when they are your bad habits. So do it for yourself. I did it for myself, for several reasons:

  • I was too big for the new clothes that I wanted to wear
  • I honestly desired to lose weight and look a little different
  • I hated the clothing style I had at that time
  • It felt like I was giving up on myself

If you want to get there, understand that you’ll need to control what you eat. Keep in mind that this could mean that you’ll need to
  • Eat less. Meaning; taking in fewer calories from food
  • Do more physical activities, to burn more calories
  • BE HAPPY, because it won’t be easy!

Believe in yourself first, and you will thank me later. Be patient. Good things come to those who are patient.
