Aspire to inspire before you expire, a quote by Eugene Bell, Jr. Which means; simply have a goal for your life, don’t let it go to waste. Whether you like it or not, me ànd you will eventually expire one day. You can’t take anything with you. But what you can do is leave a legacy behind you. Aspire to inspire others. Just as much as others inspired you.
Make your life story worth reading. Would you enjoy reading your own story if it was a book?
Master the golden rules for goal setting
Make sure the goals you setup for yourself are things that you really care about. Goals should motivate you to wake up every morning and start working on it every single day. Before/after school, work or any other occupation. One step at a time. Don’t let anybody knock your hustle.
Make your goals smart. Think things through before you get going. In goal setting, S.M.A.R.T. stands for for:
- Specific
- Measurable
- Attainable
- Relevant
- Time Bound
Your goals should be as specific as possible. Include precise amounts or numbers, even add dates to make your goals measurable. Your goals should be attainable and relevant within your career or reach of possibilities. You will have to make those possibilities happen or demoralise yourself. Giving up means you’ll destroy everything you’ve built thus far. Setup a deadline. Don’t make it too easy on yourself. It’s up to you.
