Don’t aim to please others but yourself. At the end of the day, you have to live with you. So, make sure you continue to take aim at pleasing your own self first. Don’t worry about how others view you. Instead, spend time with your own sometimes to learn more about who you are. You will start to appreciate who you are.
Be confident with who you are today and who you were.
Whatever you experienced in the past; forgive yourself and let go of the past. Don’t look back. Look forward. If you keep looking back, your neck will hurt, or your heart for that matter.
Stop being negative. Negative thoughts will always produce a negative output. That’s a waste of time and energy. Avoid negative self-talk.
Find a hobby That YOU love. Yes, I said YOU love. Not your parents or your friends. A hobby that YOU love. If you don’t have a hobby at the moment, please know that that is totally OK. Just make a list of things you would like to try and start going over them one by one. You might get surprised.
Learn from your mistakes. Don’t be crippled by your mistakes. You will make plenty more. We all do. So, don’t worry all too much about making mistakes.
Strive for what you want to accomplish. Define your goals clearly. Again, if you don’t know yet or have no personal goals yet; make a list of things you don’t want to do. Start from there. Writing things down puts your brain to work. And believe me, this can give you breakthroughs.
Being yourself does not have to mean that you have to be stuck in status quote. Aim for what you want to achieve tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. And strive for one accomplishment at a time. You can improve yourself while still remaining true to yourself.
It’s time to grow.
What do you think?
